Expecting any different is foolish. Why would the rich start creating jobs (which they would need to pay for) once they get a tax cut? If we’re talking profit motive, they’re losing their extra income by hiring these people. If hiring them would yield greater profits, they wouldn’t have needed the goddamn tax cut in the first place to do it.
The reality is, there’s a huge push for lower taxes because the people who finance campaigns want lower taxes for themselves. They don’t give a shit about you or me.
