I’d like to point out that, really, this is a fantastic example of capitalism, not (as he’ll undoubtedly cry) an infringement upon his freedom of speech. See, businesses advertise on a show because they think the exposure will generate more income, but if it turns out that associating with a particularly toxic figure will cost them business, they jump ship to avoid revenue losses. Meanwhile, Rush is free to say whatever he want, and his comments in the “marketplace of ideas” will either be embraced or rejected. It’s a perfect function of the free market!
