I’ve said many times that polls are a bad place to make policy, however there’s a reason I’m citing this one.
The fact that nearly 3/4 of the country supports raising taxes on those making >$1M should send a message to Democrats who already would love to implement such a structure but fear a popular backlash for doing so. You see, what plagues Democrats more than anything is that they shy away from their own policies thanks to over a decade of getting sledgehammered by the right-wing media for “ignoring the people”.
Well now we know where the people are. They’re behind ya, blue boys. Go at ’em.
