New York State Senator Roy McDonald.

“You get to the point where you evolve in your life where everything isn’t black and white, good and bad, and you try to do the right thing,” McDonald, 64, told reporters. “You might not like that. You might be very cynical about that. Well, fuck it, I don’t care what you think. I’m trying to do the right thing.”

God damn!

  1. Please, please, can we stop confusing the two? They are vastly,
diametrically, fundamentally different. In philosophical terms, a
‘razor’ is a device that allows the theoretician to shave away incorrect
and unlikely answers to a greater problem. If you watch House you’ll
remember Occam’s Razor, which was somewhat castrated to be aired on TV
as ‘the simplest explanation is most likely the correct one.’ But you
get the idea. A razor is something like a rule of thumb, something you
employ to solve the bigger question.
