Go sit in the corner, dunce. As anyone who reads this little site could guess and/or notice, I’m a regular reader of Media Matters. I consider it a monumentally important website for anyone who wants to see through the “filter” of the mainstream media.

Obviously, not everyone agrees that the media is conservative (despite MM’s exhaustive study proving just that), and thus we have NewsBusters. This is a site that attempts to combat liberal lies in the media, but lacking very many of them it turns into your run of the mill anti-left screech-fest.

Taking a look at their front page we find that five of the articles are about Clinton (1 for Bill, 4 for Hillary), three are about Media Matters, and a half dozen more crying about either Rush or O’Reilly’s latest well-deserved raking over the coals. On that second topic, a friend of mine sent me their article all about Media Matters , and I think in many ways it exemplifies what’s so pitiful about everyone combating the mean ol’ liberals.

The entire article focuses on Media Matters’ apparent connections to the Clinton campaign, making it a great combo article in that it cries about Rush/Bill-O, Clinton, and Media Matters all in one fell swoop. The thing is, at no point do they go into the meat of what’s wrong with the group. For all their bleating that MM is a bunch of smear merchants who spread lies and half-truths, they go to surprisingly few lengths to prove their case.
